The Excalibur Black Short has a dark wrapper with plenty of oily shine. Construction was good with tight seams and a firm pack. Cold draw had a hint of dried fruit. The fruit carried over after lighting and mixed with a smokey pepper. The cigar mellowed to a smooth tobacco core where unsweetened graham cracker, dried fruit, and crisp pepper. By the end, there is some generic nut flavor mixed with some pepper that increased slowly to the end. Strength is a solid medium. Burn time was about 30 minutes.
